COACH ZORAN AND HIS AFRICAN TIGERS

Out of the ashes of Africa’s longest ever civil war, South Sudan finally achieved independence in July 2011.  This film follows the first ever national football team in the new nation.  It focuses on coach Zoran, a maverick Serbian who sets out on an unlikely quest to transform his team of ex-refugees into world beaters.  In a country with zero infrastructure, it rapidly becomes clear that he faces an impossible challenge.
